Compact doors – Our manufacturer uses slats manufactured by the two leading European manufacturers of garage door components. It is important to stress that the Compact door is the least secure & insulated of the garage doors. It is not recommended as a first choice of garage door. This doors design comes into its own if the headroom is limited. A Compact door is not recommended where the garage and the house are together and especially if there is a door into the house from the garage. Security & insulation being reasons.

This point has become particularly relevant as some companies are selling Compact doors that are so flimsy, they would hardly hold up to someone leaning against them, let alone trying to break in.

Our Compact slats are as good as they get and the Somfy control system has an inbuilt 105db alarm. If you need a Compact roll-up door, get a good one! It is fair to say that we sell about 1 Compact door to about every 350 Classic or Lite doors.

BOX	Roll-formed aluminium box with pressure-moulded reinforced aluminium alloy end plates.
GUIDES & BOTTOM SLAT	Extruded aluminium 75mm or 66mm X 27mm guide rails with double brush inserts. Extruded bottom slat with rubber weather seal.

MOTOR	Somfy or Ellard depending on requirements.

White, cream white, ivory, beige, silver, grey, red, blue, fir green, moss green, velvet, brown, brown, anthracite, black, painted golden oak or painted rosewood are all standard colours. Laminate wood effect and non-stocked RAL colours are subject to a 15% surcharge.
